DESCRIPTION:School of Congregational Development – Catch on Fire\nPurpose – Challenge – Hope – Adventure\n18-21 September 2025\, Oslo\, Norway \n4 Intensive days for the curious\, the young\, the learners\, the builders\, the innovators\, the prophets\,  the leaders\, the pastors\, the deacons\, the methodists…. \nCome join us for School Of Congregational Development in Oslo. \nAre you involved in children’s ministry\, family or social work?\nAre you a young adult trying to figure out how to live out your faith and what role to play in church?\nAre you a church leader in need of refreshment and personal reflection on your ministry? \nThen come and join us for School of Congregational development in Oslo. \nOne of the key benefits of a conference like this is new inspiration and networking among other church leaders in our bishop area. And we definitely need new inspiration and networking after a long time of separation and split in the Methodist Church. We need to rekindle the fire\, started by the Holy Spirit that originally united the people called Methodists in Finland\, Latvia and Lithuania\, Ukraine\, Norway and Denmark. We need new enthusiasm and clearer understanding of why and how we engage in mission to reach people in the world with the love of God. We need guidance from the source\, Jesus Christ\, to direct our steps and face today’s burning points regarding climate change\, peace and justice\, migration\, AI and other hot spot issues. \nJohn Wesley once wrote “Catch on fire with enthusiasm and people will come for miles to watch you burn.” This evocative statement captures the essence of passion and the magnetic pull it exerts on others. Let’s draw each other in and meet for four days of holy conferencing\, workshops\, talks\, joy and curiosity about the Triune God who sets our souls on fire. \nPlease find the program here
